Add a custom session to your session library using the file browser<\/h3>\n

On Desktop Computers (Linux, macOS, Windows)<\/h4>\n

Move the .mmm file to a location you can easily remember. Your user home directory might be a good start. Some operating systems might offer to extract the mmm file (it uses a zip format), don’t do this.<\/p>\n

Open MMM and go to your session library. Press the button “Add via <\/span>F<\/span>ile Browser” to get to the included file browser. Navigate to the folder that contains your .mmm file and click it to start the importing process. You should get a message that the session was imported successfully. If it says that it failed please check your session library, it might still have imported correctly.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can now select and play the imported session from your session library.<\/p>\n

Android<\/h4>\n

Move the .mmm file to your Android device, preferably a location you can easily remember. Your Downloads directory might be a good start. This feature needs your permission to access files. If it does not work as intended, make sure to give the “Storage” permission to the app.\u00a0Control your app permissions on Android 6.0 and up.<\/a><\/p>\n

Open MMM and go to your session library. Press the button “Add via <\/span>F<\/span>ile Browser” to get to the included file browser. Navigate to the folder that contains your .mmm file and click it to start the importing process. You should get a message that the session was imported successfully. If it says that it failed please check your session library, it might still have imported correctly.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can now select and play the imported session from your session library.<\/p>\n

iOS<\/h4>\n

Move the .mmm file to your iOS using iTunes File Sharing. Here is a tutorial how to use iTunes File Sharing.<\/a><\/p>\n

Open MMM and go to your session library. Press the button “Add via <\/span>F<\/span>ile Browser” to get to the included file browser. You will see a folder containing your .mmm file, just click the file to start the importing process. You should get a message that the session was imported successfully. If it says that it failed please check your session library, it might still have imported correctly.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can now select and play the imported session from your session library.<\/p>\n

Add a custom session to your session library wirelessly<\/h3>\n

Note: This approach works by making assumptions about your home network. If it doesn’t work, please use the file browser method.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Open SessionMaker on your desktop computer and MMM on your device.<\/p>\n

In SessionMaker, select Transfer via Wifi” and select the session file you want to transfer. In MMM go to your session library and select “Add via Wifi Transfer”.<\/p>\n

Both programs now try to establish a connection to each other. The file will be transferred automatically when the connection is established. Finally, MMM should give you a message thaat the file was successfully imported. If it says that it failed please check your session library, it might still have imported correctly.<\/p>\n
